PAC 750XL FAA CERTIFIED

The PAC 750XL was ISSUED a FAA TYPE CERTIFICATE, 10 March 2004!

For those of you who have been in touch with us for the last few years, we thank you for your support.

The next plane destined for the US could be here as early as June !

Our very unfortunate loss of Kelvin set us back on the eve of certification. The FAA requested an independent evaluation of the systems and is obviously satisfied with the results. The CAA investigation is still active and we have no fresh information from that quarter.

Current PAC 750XL Ops

There are two PAC 750XL's now in operating in Taupo, New Zealand. The feedback from them is very good. There have been some minor glitch's but the operators are very pleased and are contemplating placing more orders. Taupo is a high use skydive center. For example, we were told, on one Saturday recently, there were 320 tandems shared between the three operators. The bulk of the profits being taken by the two PAC 750XL operators.

For the non Skydive industry readers, each tandem requires a jump master and we can estimate a cameraman for each three tandems. This represents a high take-off / landing cycle and a lift of approximately 750 people, essentially between two aircraft in one day.

This high utilization brings out the worst in an aircraft. The good news is that the PAC 750XL operators both used PAC 750 CRESCO's and know just how hardy the machine is.

How Do I Buy One?

We have serial numbers available. The factory is revising the delivery slot times for us, but tentatively we are anticipating having deliveries available middle to late summer.

You can still secure a serial number with a $50,000 deposit. (We have customers reminding us that the initial deposit two years ago was $10,000 and the purchase price was $895,000. That price is being honored for those who signed up back then. What a deal that was!)

Unfortunately, we anticipate the price might creep up over time, so please seriously consider locking in a serial number now!

If you want to see it working, we can arrange a quick trip down under.

Feel free to call for more details.

Regards,

Philip Esdaile
