Prototype P-750 XSTOL departing California after sucessfull completion of the FAA noise test. Ferry Pilot, Kelvin Stark, departing Yolo County Airport, just west of Sacramento, California, direct to Hilo, Hawaii.

The aircraft, with the ferry system and full of fuel, had an all-up weight of 9500 pounds, which is 2000 pounds over gross weight! The climb rate was 500 feet per minute. Kelvin made the 2108 nautical mile trip in 13.5 hours, with an approximate five hour reserve.
